3-day auction or 7-day?

My friend wants me to list a couple of prams for her. I usually list on a Sunday and the auction runs for 7 days. I know she's quite keen to get rid of them so was thinking about putting them on tomorrow for a 3-day auction. I know lots of things get viewed when they don't have much time left but a lot of the things I've sold have had watchers gradually build up over the week. What do you think?

7 day is better imho as more people are likely to see it

I'd put them on on a 3 day that ends on Sunday if she wants to get them sold quicker or a 7 or 5 day which again ends on a Sunday. Ask her what she thinks.

I like 10 day best personally- gives people 2 weekends to spot my auctions!
I would never notice 3 day auctions, as I don't go on there every day.

I agree - I would go for a 7/10 day auction with a pram (what I always do) as gives buyers much longer to view the listings & get the money together!!

If the pram is unique ie not one of the popular brands that have instant appeal and achieving a good price depends on the right person seeing that listing, then put it on for a longer time.

Thanks everyone. I think I'll hold on until Sunday and put it on for 7 days.
