Sending to Ireland...

...I've just been asked if I'll post one of my items to Ireland. The end bid could well be over £36 (hopefully!!). I've had a look at the Royal Mail site and I can't tell whether I can pay for extra cover or not.

If I send it normal airmail it'll cost £1.77 covered up to £36 or International Signed for is £5.27, will stil only be covered for up to £36 and is only tracked in the uk.

I think you probably need to use the 'air sure' service rather than the 'international signed for' in order to get the extra compensation. Signed for is the international equivalent of recorded and air sure the equivalent of special. May cost a small fortune thought!
