Selling pink ds with case and with 5 games (varied so should appeal brain training, bratz, football one and 2 otehrs)

Do you think £50 starting bid to high, tried looking on ebay but they seem to vary so much??

Would you be put off with £7 postage as if I sell this I'd rather it went special delivery than recorded?

i would start it at 99p personally you get more people looking thinking it's a bargain i sold a psp for about £100 and started that at 99p. you could always put a reserve on it but you get charged extra.

eandh · 02/12/2008 18:45

took your advice just listed it as 99p (but with £55 reserve) and immeadiatley had an email asking if I had a BIN price aaaraghhh decisions!!!

do not give in let the auction run you might be very surprised at the result.but dont hold me responsible if you dont make your reservation.

Lol no worries - not really fussed if I sell it or not money would be handy and tbh its hardly played with it but if it doenst sell I won't be devastated!

Thanks for your help

i wont worries too much as most dont bid till last minute!

JerricaBenton · 03/12/2008 10:20

the reserve might put people off though, as they know they have to bid more than £50 sraight away. defeats the point of starting at 99p. I avoid any listings that have a reserve lol

goldFAQinsenceandmyrrh · 03/12/2008 10:23

Obviously it's too late now, but I always start my auctions at the very minimum price I'd want it to go for, for something like what you're selling if I was a buyer a reserve wouldn't put me off tbh as they often fetch quite highish prices anyhow.
