OK, I've managed to upgrade my Paypal account to Premier and list a bunch of items, and people are bidding!

One guy has asked if I can combine postage and send 2nd rather than 1st if he wins multiple items. How do I send an invoice for him to pay? Can I just refund a certain amount after making him pay the default postage?

In fact, do I have to send all winners invoices?

Also someone (good feedback) has asked if I can send a heavy item to Poland. Royal Mail imply that items over 2 kg can't be mailed abroad, even surface mail. Surely that can't be right?

Help!

Yes, you can combine postage and send second class (but still send recorded if you are accepting payment via paypal). The postage calculator will give you a fair cost.

Yes, you can send heavy items to Poland, but you can't send them recorded so make sure you get something in writing from the buyer that they are aware of this and will only get proof of postage.

Can you find the prices for a say 5 kg parcel on the royal mail website? because www.royalmail.com/portal/rm/content1?mediaId=400393&catId=400037 says only printed papers can be sent over 2kg.

I can work out how much to charge when combining postage, but how do i tell the buyer how much to pay?

Once they've won both items ebay will automatically put both items ont he same invoice - you can then edit the postage amount before sending it.
