Can I have a "sale" for a limited time only?

I have an item listed, it has a few watchers but not as many as I would like. It has 3 days to go.

ATM it is listed with a starting price and a BIN of £120. It has not gone and I would really like to achieve £100 soooo, I was thinking of editing the listing and plastering SALE all over it and changing the BIN to £100 for 24hours only.

Is it possible to change the BIN twice like this? (I know if someone bids then the BIN will go)

Do you think it could work as a tactic?

Of course I would make it clear it is a sale as it has been reduced from £120...

Have you though of putting a best offer on it? You can set it to reject any offer below £100 and accept anything over £100.

Agree, [just spotted thread], best offer is a no lose hence you you can wait for what you want. you have to pay for listing though. but you can put it on for as long as you like. best be quick cos u only have a limited time to stop the other auction!!!

Thank you!

It is a good idea to do a offer... I have done the BIN thing for 24 hrs so I will see if that works, if not I may do that as I will still have 24 hours left to cancel it (unless I get bids of course) I am trying to maximise profit but minimise effort on this one

Thank you for your thoughts, I actually hadn't even thought to do an offer on it - I have no idea why though!
