chq by registered post?

southeatsastras · 18/11/2008 09:35

he's in italy, don't really want to send a cheque.

paypal still say the account isn't taking payments. seems odd to me.

we're in a dispute over it which ends tomorrow. just want to refund and be done!

he isn't answering emails. odd

contact ebay and tell them you are unable to refund and copy them your emails to him not sure what else you can be expected to do.
I wouldn't send a cheque to Italy either.

Just a thought - are you clicking refund to partially or fully refund him or are you trying to pay him as a new transaction IYSWIM?

southeatsastras · 18/11/2008 13:19

there doesn't seem to be a refund key at all on the resolution site, so i've been trying to do it via 'send money'

this is so frustrating! called paypal, now emailing them. it's so annoying i know the buyers online as he's left feedback to another today. so fishy

maybe you may win dispute then if his paypal is dodgy might be worth waiting until tom for decision ?

southeatsastras · 18/11/2008 14:52

i spoke to them, they seem to think he'll be refunded. also posted on the boards who think our account could be frozen too!

it's like wading through treacle. All i can do it wait and seethe. (and make dp sort out his own ebaying in the future).

thanks lily

good luck southeast it's a joke for sellers they happily take your money then don't give a monkeys when you are blatantly being screwed over by a dodgy buyer

southeatsastras · 19/11/2008 19:20

sent him two messages, neither answered. spent hours on the phone and email to paypal who were no help at all, only said they couldn't access his account either.

dispute ends today, no idea what'll happen
