Load of wooden train tracks and accessories - how best to sell them?

Just wondering if anyone has any experience of selling lots of wooden train tracks and accessories on ebay.

I am not sure whether to sell in lots or individually with the accessories and if in lots - than how many pieces of track per lot etc?

Hoping someone can help me!

do you have to sell on ebay? what about on here how much would you be looking for?

look at completed listings should give you an idea

Are you happy to post them?

I sold a load in blocks of 4 pieces of track. Quite a few people bought more than one lot, and I made it very clear on the auction that a) collection in person was welcome and b) I would reduce the P&P to actual cost for more than one auction win.

I sold mine all in one go, and it did pretty well.

Here is the listing.

My estimation of postage was about right. I needed a car to take it to the PO though.

Frogs what did you start it at?

frogs · 17/11/2008 21:08

The minimum I was prepared to accept -- £12.99 iirc.

bozza · 17/11/2008 21:18

so quite a lot less than what it went for.

We just sold a box of track/trains (2, I think) for £1.25. Oops. Was hoping for a bit more there..!
