I have just been paid to paypal by an e-cheque - is this trustworthy or dodgy?

Naturally I stated paypal only on the ebay listing but they have paid by echeque. It says in the email it will take 9 days to clear to the paypal account.

and the sellers address is their full address but without their surname

they usually fine but very slow to clear don't send item until cleared !

They're used by people like me who aren't frequent ebay shoppers and are paranoid about giving them our credit card number. As far as I know, they're 100% reliable. They are, though, amazingly slow.

An e-cheque is basically just a bank transfer, instead of an instant credit card payment. The buyer used his/her bank account to fund the payment, and so the money has to trasnfer over! Amazingly slow, but it should clear fine.
