Dispute - paypal said I would get refunded. Seller says they have received it but have not updated paypal

If they don't update the claim will I not get my money back?

The paypal site just says awaiting response. The seller has been extremely aggressive and I don't think they will update paypal even though the tracking info was provided by me (sent recorded delivery)

I think (think) if they don't respond it reaches an expiry date and you auto get refunded

have you done everything you poss can? escalate to a claim, filled in all the bits and bobs?
Double check there is nothing more for you to do and have a read through and see if it gives a date

Lauriefairycake · 30/10/2008 15:10

done absolutely everything - the closing date is tomorrow. I have an email from the buyer confirming they signed for it (and threatening me with the police cos they claim the item is missing from the parcel)

It's just there doesn't seem to be a way for me to contact paypal and provide evidence that they say they've signed for it. It seems I have to wait for them to confirm it.

but you have had an opportunity to give paypal the tracking number?
if so then you should auto get a refund - wait and see what happens tomorrow - and come back and tell us

paypal just deal with hard facts eg tracking numbers (have you checked it on RM website?) so don't worry about passing on messages from the other party.

Ignor all messages from seller, and if they come through the ebay message system click the report button at the bottom.
