Hi,
Help and advise needed.
A buyer has bought a large amount of toys from me.
What is the easiest and cheapest way to get them to her.
I would need a large box to get them all in and I am not sure the PO will accept. Also it will weigh loads as some of the toys are wooden.
Anyone help with this one please?

look for a courier on ebay - they tend to work out cheapest

MrsMagooo · 29/10/2008 08:17

I use these couriers

Only £7.99 for a 48 delivery (although every time I have used them the item has been delivered next day)

did you list them separately or as one lot?

MaggsS · 29/10/2008 09:54

Seperately. 6 or 7 items altogether.Came to £40 without the postage.

well, if separately then you don't have to post them all in one box. You could work out the best way for you eg manageable sized packages that will go from the PO. You may find you can still offer a postage discount by combining 2 or 3 'items' in one box. Look at the RM pricings for standard parcels and try to get the best weights in each box.

i owuld send courier parcel to go are ok my sis uses them what was your specified postah=ge costs? as you could discount her some if already paid give refund and courier the lot or pasckage a few together although courirer would probably be easier

Thanks for all your advise.

I have boxed them up in 2 parcels and waiting to hear if she will pay the cost.

I looked into a courier but cannot really wait in all day for the parcel to be collected.

I'll let you know the outcome
