I just had the nicest ebay experience!

I put my old fridge on ebay starting 99p. Ended last night for 99p.
The winning bidder emailed me to say 'if you are not happy for it to be sold for 99p then let me know and we can cancel the transaction'.
So I told him thats fine, its saved me ploughing through a million freecycle people's emails.
When he rang this morning to arrange pick up I mentioned that he just caught me on the way out to the park with our 2 little boys.
He just left with the frige, BUT when dp came back from helping him get it into his car, he said 'these are for us'.

The lovely buyer has older boys, and has given us a bag of books, games, and computer games for the children, and some choccies for me!
Because he felt guilty getting such a bargain!
Just wanted to share that cos there seems to be so many threads about scammy ebay buyers at the moment.

How very kind of him. Ahem speaking from the buyers view we are not all scammers and tbh have come across a few unscrupulous buyers. Works both ways I'm afraid but there are always a few "bad apples" that spoil things for the rest of us.

Yes I buy a lot as well for the children and am a model buyer
But some of the threads on here recently have made me about a lot of the buyers that ARE out there deliberately wanting to rip people off.

There are still mostly genuine people on ebay i think it's the minority that spoil it for the majority!
