Says it all really, my heart sunk.

Quoted for uk first class, thinking it will get there in time.

Seeing all sort of possible problems here.
Dont know how much to invoice her, will have to take parcel to post office tomorrow to get a price.

I guess to comply with paypal rules I will have to use a signed for system so anyone know how reliable international signed for is? Will it get to her in time?

I have been on the RM website and the online tracking for international signed for deliveries only works up to the time it leaves the UK.
Airsure which does have tracking doesn't seem to cover Greece.

I dont want to upset this buyer but I am worried about it not arriving and her starting a dispute and with paypals rules requiring an online tracking system I am stuffed.

Would fed ex or DHL do it?

"the thing is, i don't think anyone could reasonably be expecting you to feel obligated to send it until about 30 days from now."

??? why?

well, a seller loses their paypal protection if they don't post within 7 days. - you are the second to come up with this 30 day idea and I can't help but wonder where it comes from....

sixlostmonkeys · 26/10/2008 18:48

a buyer can open a 'item not received' dispute after 10 days

hi she is in Thessalloniki (?sp).
She seems to be british but based in greece -she has a uk address but wants it sent to Greece.
International signed for does offer compenation but only for loss or damage inside the uk (????)

you can only post to the address on paypal so if it's a uk one you can tell her this.

if you would rather not post outside the UK you can tell her and hope she agrees to a mutual withdraw.

For future listings you can set your preferences to block bids from countries you don't post to

I recently posted an some shoes I sold on Ebay to Greece. I just sent them by first class mail.

Looking at my dates.

The shoes sold on 04/10/08
posted on 05/10/08

and they left feedback on 10/1004

so it wasn't too bad.

HTH
