I've been selling some baby clothes on ebay, and they've been going for between £1 and £2 in general, with the occasional thing going for significantly more. I put everything down for a 10% donation to charity, a charity that is indeed close to my heart.
what I didn't realise was that the minimum donation per item to charity is £1. This means that where an item sold for less than £2, by the time I've done the charity donation, Ebay fees and Paypal fees, in some case I've actually lost money!!
I can't really complain, and I do care about the charity, adn probably wouldn't have made a £15 donation to them this week anyway, but I am a tiny bit at losing money on this!
Oh well - you live and learn!
