Advice needed. Do this sound about right?

Seller has listing for bag I want. She is selling 2 in one listing - has 2 left available.

So, I emailed her asking for her best price and we both agreed on one.

Seller says she has to send me a separate invoice because she's unable to change price in listing.

Seller has sent me an invoice through Paypal. There are no details of Ebay item on it, just her email address and a request for amount we agreed on.

Am I safe to pay this way?
Will it show in My Ebay that I purchased item from her?
Is there any chance she could rip me off here?

Any advice very much appreciated!!

if you sell outsisde of e bay it wont show in your ebay at all it would be like selling on here you sell between you both on an understanding

i think you could still be covered by paypal if you complain after 10 days but you wont be covered through ebay as you'll be buying outside of ebay

im not sure but saw similar question on here the other day you can still claim via paypal but you wont be able to neg her or claim via e bay as trading outside of and against e bay rules so its yours and sellers discretion as wether you would be happy to do this

you should be able to change price unless less than 12 hrs to go in listing if more than 12 hrs she can revise the price if less than this could be why she is sending seperate invoice as would be unable to change if feedback 100 % i would be trusting but thats me

The price on the listing is higher.

I asked her for the best price she could do and we both agredd on a lower price.

Why not suggest that you officially buy it through Ebay at the higher price, but then she sends you an invoice showing an adjustment so it brings it down to the amount you actually want to pay? taht way you are covered by both Ebay and paypal?

Only flaw to this is that she will be charged a final fee by Ebay on the higher amount, but you could maybe offer to pay that extra bit of thefee - it might be worth it for your peace of mind ( depending on the amount involved)

Can only see going Flocci way as if you go through ebay that better for you. She can revise invoice to adjust amount you pay!

Is it a BIN? Can she add the "or best offer" option then she can accept the agreed amount.

Wux I did something simialr the otherday - an item I wanted had ended with no buyers so I asked if it was still for the sale. It was so we agreed a price & I paid via PP. It was a risk that paid off as I got the item much cheaper & it arrived the day after I paid
