ok,. i sold a bedding set yesterday, and in my listing i stated no e cheques please.
however the winning bidder has paid with an echeque!!! i emailed her and said i didnt accept them, and then got a email back saying she didnt see that in the listing anywhere!!! and they were really safe but take longer to clear.
are they safe??? i always thought they were really rather rubbish!
also can i cancel this transaction, and say i no longer want to go through with the sale. (then i will relist it)
any help would be appreciated.
TIA xx

Refer buyer back to the listing and if you want to relist, open a dispute and get your listing fees back.

echeques are safe she just has to wait til it clears in about 6 days before posting it . Do not post t it is cleared though, you get email notifying you

nothing wrong with echeques - just wait for it to clear
