And refund them?

Or do i need to send proof of postage to the buyer to claim?

You have to do the claiming.
If i were you, I would send a copy of the proof of postage to the buyer, with a note explaining that you are claiming from RM (you have to wait three weeks from posting) and that you will refund as soon as you have compensation. In the meantime, could they please let you know if it arrives.
Good luck - hope you have a nice buyer.

i think you should refund the buyer stright away incase they give you neg feedback.

I think you should do the claiming.

Make sure you check RM website for timescale for lost items (certain number of working days).

Then get them to email you a note for the purposes of sending to RM saying that they haven't received it as of appropriate date.

Refund buyer before RM claim comes through.

If you have all the paperwork, RM claims are usually no prob. I have done 3 or 4 for eBay selling.
