Anyone understand the term pricing mark up?? please explain to me :)

have a wholesaler but they are stipulating a 2.35% mark up. My first wholesaler so don't have a clue and was too embarassed to ask what it meant....doh

anyone please explain it to me I would be very grateful

Do you mean they insist you apply this mark up?

Or that they will mark it up by this much and take the money?

are you sure it is a % and not a multiplier to their retail price ?

they are insisting on the mark up and maybe it is a multiplier as thats, what was confusing me as 2.35 % is not much. As a mulitplier that would make sense.
I'm going to have to ring them to double check. Thanks guys
