another stupid ebay question from a novice seller

hello, sold an item on ebay a few days ago, sent invoice, buyer has not paid yet ( I accept paypal). I didn't state a 'payment time period' in the listing so how long does the buyer have to pay? (Am going round in circles on ebay help topics)

7 days normally, then you can send a reminder.

thanks too ten10, the buyer has excellent feedback so hopefully he/she will pay soon, (can see now why sellers always comment in my feedback saying 'prompt payment' etc )
