Can somone explain why? Quite a few items on from new Next catalaogue at higher price....

because they are sold out and no one can get hold of them?

Boden swishy skirt is £16, people are selling them on Ebay for over £30.

Am totally confused ..I got dd some stuff in the A/W Next preview. Should I put that on ebay at a higher price than in the catalogue?

I find it totally bizarre that people are willing to pay so highly over what it would cost in shops, unless they live in the middle of nowhere and can't get to a town. You see it a lot with toys, a while back I saw a Doctor Who action figure go for over £80 when you can buy them new for £6.99.

I would start your listing at a little bit over what it says in the catalogue and let people go nuts bidding.

I bought a childrens table and chairs from IKEA for £12 and saw them going on Ebay for over £40! I think some people just aren't aware of the cost of things. I once sold some second hand bookcases to a second hand shop, man from the shop said "I'm afraid I can only give you £60 as they are from IKEA and not great quality".
I said "that will do nicely" I only paid £40 brand new!

I think that some people just arent aware of what these things cost in the shops. Maybe some people just think that if it is on ebey it must be cheap.
I have frequently sold used clothes on ebay that sold for more than what they cost when I bought them in the shops in the first place. Some brands just sell really well on ebay.
