Can I outbid myself?

Placed a bid on an item but then realised it was ending when I was going on hols. So I put a higher bid using Auctionsniper. But so far, I am the only bidder! What happens at the end of the auction if I am still the only bidder? Will I increase the price for myself by doing this?

No.

No it just stays the same unless someone else bids. If someone else bids, your own bid will cover you upto your maximum but it won't go up unless someone else pushes it up.
