Please give me some urgent advice ASAP!!

I bought DH a helicoptor from these people over a week ago and it still hasnt arrived. I need it tomorrow as his bday is thursday and we are leaving for a day out first thing in the morning. Yesterday I emailed them, got a very non committal reply back so emailed them again have not heard from them - today's post has arrived and it isnt in it! I am soooooo freaked out!! Have been searching for a phone number for them because they are a proper business not a private seller but I cant find one.

The link above asks for an email address/password to track an order but every one I have tried doesnt work and I wasnt aware of having a password with them anyway????

PLEASE help do you know how I can get a phone number from them??? I am quickly running out of time!

If you lodge a dispute with EBay, I think you may be able to get their contact details. I'm not deffo sure about that though.

Have you tried clicking the 'forgotten password'? It might just generate a new one for you. You've nothing to lose.

thanks! is it wrong to lodge a dispute at this stage? I paid for the item on 25/06.

I don't know what the repurcussions are for either party when you lodge a dispute. But someone I know put a car on Ebay and he started getting garages phoning him up asking him if he'd sell privately. It turned out the garages lodged a dispute to get his telephone number.

I managed to find the password they have assigned me so have logged on to the website. It says item was shipped on the 26th. But clearly I havent had it. That is all it says and I still cant get a phone number. Have sent 4 emails today and 2 yesterday if I havent heard from them within the hour I will lodge a dispute. I am so gutted. I really really need this for DH's special birthday present. Am so upset.

tried to open a dispute - you are only allowed to if its been over 10 days since you purchased. So even though they are not communicating with me at all I cant do anything about it til after DH's bday.

Did you pay via PP?? If you did you can open a dispute direct with them even though it's not been over 10 days, I've done that before!

no Tomorrow is the last day it can arrive before I need it. I am starting a dispute via paypal as soon as the postlady delivers the daily post and that isnt included. BUT am hoping hoping hoping it WILL be included!!! I so badly want it. We have been having a really hard time lately as a family and I have planned Thursday out to the minute to be the nicest family day in ages.

(Just to clarify) hard time with the family stuff isnt relationship problems its money. I literally sold loads of stuff to pay for this present for my DH's birthday. I lost my job etc etc and am studying to be a childminder but havent got an income at the moment (obviously besides DH's but that doesnt cover all our expenses) anyway. that is all besides the point I just didnt want anyone thinking I meant we were having relationship problems when its other stuff. This present was just supposed to be really special. Oh well. I guess its out of my hands!! Will let you know tomorrow if it arrives or not!

thanks for the moral support! But it didnt arrive. So I am doing the dispute via ebay and paypal and tonight I am running out to Maplin who also sell them to buy another one so he has a present for tomorrow! NOT happy about it but there you go!
