sold something on ebay, i transfered cash frm palpal straight into bank.
now a week later i have to refund the guy the £156, he opened a dispute straight away without contacting me, grrr.
i will refund so that not problem, thing is i only have £140 in paypal not £156 i need to refund and it wont let add rest from my bank, tried adding funds but im going in circles as it keeps saying add acount/ bank so i do and then it says this bank is already added, wont let me transfer money, how do i get round this, hate ebay;/ paypal. more hassle than its worth.

any advice pleeeeease.

No advice but,,,,,, arghgghgh I was just sitting down now to list a pile of stuff on ebay and am now wondering whether to just stuff it all in the loft and have a car boot sale later in the year....

can u ask the guy if he will accept £140 and then send balance via cheque ? Paypal is a bloody nusiance sometimes. If you explain it to him thn he might be k withit. Keep posted how u get on !!!

yes I think knickers is right - if I buy some thing via paypal and don't have enough money then it just tops up from the bank account its connected to.
So I'm sure it will do the same for a refund.

this guy 'has' returned the item to you i hope?
If not, this will give you more time to get funds in.
But that said, as above, just refund - don't try to send a payment as you will lose the initial fees and the buyer will now lose out on fees by return.

he changed is mind b4 sent.
have tried but it wont let me go to minus 16 and take from bank, been trying for ages to sort it now, think im just gonna put kids to bed, have dins, clear my head then sort it.
damn pain in the ass buyers that dont have a clu
