PAYPAL VIRGIN NEEDS HELP

I have just bought something off ebay and paid by paypal. The seller has emailed to say that paypal have informed them that I have paid by e cheque and it will take aprox 10 days to clear. How do I make paypal quicker? My friend buys loads of stuff off ebay and she said paypal was more or less instant. Any help for this techno phobe greatfully recieved.

I signed up to use PayPal with my Debit Card.Its always instant and people have even commented in my Feedback about how fast the payment was. HTH

I have also had a Dispute with a buyer from Japan,that didnt send the goods.I had no problem getting my money back through PayPal,if that helps reassure you about "them" having your Card Details.

I set it up with debit card details, I dont know what i have done wrong. I have contacted paypal but not had a reply yet.

I'm sure they'll help you.Have you tried looking at your account details,perhaps you have ticked a box or left one blank that you can rectify maybe?

Thanks sawyer64, I hace phoned paypal. The problem is because I havent registered the bank details as a debit card. I had to log on but it wouldnt accept my pass word so had to go through the steps of making a new pass word and then she took me through the steps to register my bank details as a debit card. During this stressfull phone call my 4 yr old DS and 2 yr old DD were demanding drinks and generally making the whole thing as difficult as possible for me anyway I hope its sorted now, thanks for your help.

I have DD1 3.11 and DD2 who is 20 mths,seems to be a signal when the phone goes to make as much noise as possible,and ask for as much as they can!!!
