stupid question [blush] when posting to southern Ireland is standard parcels rate just the same from the UK to them?

I reckon not. Am in Republic of Ireland and it cost us more to send a letter or parcel to UK than to within Ireland, and I think we always have to pay more to receive things from UK.

it's airmail, classed as europe.
If the post code stats with BT then it's UK

No Southern Ireland is Europe not the UK, go the the royal mail website and you can work out the cost using their drop down boxes.
