why can't I see my listing?

I can see it in "my ebay" but when I search for the thing I'm selling, I can't see it anywhere.

Is it there?

Is there a reason I can't see it?

Can other people see it?

Will it ever sell if nobody can see it?

Is there a secret "hide" button that I don't know about?

If you have just listed it then it can take a while to show in the main listings.
If not then you must be searching on words that aren't included in your item title!

aah, how long is a while? I did it about half an hour ago

I had a confirmation email from ebay, so I don't think there is a problem.

Do I need to re-start my computer or anything technical like that?

I'll stop refreshing it every five minutes and swearing at the computer then.

(But I won't tell dp that I've stopped looking for it, that way I can mumsnet for a while longer )

It can take a while - if it has a designer name in the title it can take even longer....
