I saw some croc-like shoes on ebay (I know, I know ) advertised as Croc'sies, brand new and exactly the colour that FS1 wants so I emailed the buyer and asked if they were genuine. She replied saying they weren't genuine crocs but "are very close in terms of quality and manufacture".

I emailed again and asked which make they are then and I've just got exactly the same reply!

Not sure whether she doesn't know (she has a lot) or doesn't want to tell me but why wouldn't she?

TBH, if I saw them in Asda I would probably buy them but I don't understand why she can't tell me which make they are!

Why does it matter what make they are if you like the look of them and are prepared to pay that price for them?

She doesn't want you to know as you would just go and buy them from wherever she got them.

it doesn't really matter but I was just a little puzzled as to why she didn't want to tell me!
Will probably get them anyway as DS1 realy wants orange ones and I can't seem to see any of those anywhere else.

Thanks for your replies anyway

They're probably unbranded knock-offs from China. Don't overpay - there are lots of fake ones round here and some of them look pretty cheap and nasty.
