Have put in a paypal dispute as apparently I cant log an ebay one till 20 days after the item bidding ended.
Have left 2 messages for him in the resolution centre, he has not answered. Sent 5 emails to him, no response.
I dont even know if paypal contacts him to answer or do they just leave it to us?
Does anyone have a phone number i can contact paypal on as there doesnt seem to be anything listed.

Thanks for any help.

From what I remember Paypal will contact him and you'll either get a grovelling apology from the little git or notification from Paypal that you're getting your money back.

It's bad enough when items don't turn up but scamming on tickets is really low. Sorry you missed your concert

Did the tickets have seat numbers?

Not that this will help you now but if the tickets did have seat numbers, they can be 'duped' which means duplicated at the box office venue and the original tickets null & void.

Can't do it with 'standing' tickets.

Thanks for your answers. I have bought tickets off ebay before and never a problem, though i know it's chancey. Was gutted though, esp as booked babysitter and prepaid the car park which is non refundable .
They did have ticket numbers and the photo of them on the listing. We didnt lose too much as they were so cheap - bet that's why he didnt send them as thought for that amount I'll go myself!

No, not ticket numbers, SEAT numbers ie block, row, seat number. If this happens to anyone you know in the future, you can duplicate them at the box office but not with standing as they no not have a SEAT number-just a ticket number IYSWIM.

I used to run a ticket agency and worked with TicketMaster so hope this helps someone.

In you senario, If I were you and I knew about this as a possibility, I would have emailed the seller and asked him to ring the venue and duplicate the tickets. As long as you had something with his name say the paypal information and the seat numbers this should have sufficed. I would have rung the venue too, we always did this for tickets that didn't arrive and were constantly faxing stuff thro to places like the NEC and Wembley. Would email them nowadays.

Anyway Im rambling and you say he didn't respond to email so thats that!

Will it prejudice my case if i put neg feedback now rather than wait? He still hasnt responded and am so fed up with him i want to put my angst down!

isn't ticket touting technically illegal though? in which case would be ve hard to have the tickets duplicated as they will have been sent out by the rightful distributor.
