Really weird situation so hopefully someone with more experience than me can advise.
Have only recently started using Vinted to sell a few items. Already had one parcel go astray - first sale - and apparently is on its way back to me.🙄. Second sale went fine and third sale I packaged up and took to a locker I hadn't used before yesterday morning.
Sale stated client had paid for Evri home delivery.
Drove to the locker and entered what I assumed was the Evri code at the bottom of the label - no working scanner - but it came up incorrect. (This was a multi company locker and very confusing.) I then saw another reference number on the label so tried that and it was accepted by Royal Mail. Locker opened, I put the package inside, typed in my email address as requested, closed the locker and pressed "Finished". No receipt was issued so assumed it would arrive on my email.
Over 24 hours later I still don't have any receipt so have no proof of posting and the parcel isn't tracking anywhere and especially on Vinted. Vinted is still saying I need to send by 08 September. (Fortunately buyer's full name and address is on the label )
Has anyone had anything like this happened? I have contacted Vinted but just received an auto response so far.☹️. The top was only £2 so not worried about that but am concerned the buyer won't receive it and I could be issued with poor auto feedback as not sending the item.☹️
