Ending an auction early, can I do it?

I am selling some trousers and have had an email from a potential buyer who wants me to end the auction early for £10. There is already one bid on the item and 8 people wayching it. I am sure I will sell them but maybe not for £10. I think it would be unfair. What should I do?

It's against ebay rules apart from that I don't know.

Thanks I tried to find the rules on ebay this morning but failed. I have emailed back and said no. Probably sell for 99p now!!

You can do this if you choose to sell to the highest bidder and sell through ebay. NOT if you close auction and then sell it to them separately i believe according to the help pages.
