Vinted new sellers, excellent products and £8.98 pricing … a bit fishy?

My feed this am is full of lovely cosmetics and skin care or BNWT/NEW NO TAGS trainers, DM sandals from new sellers with names like DWYX491 and all priced £8.98. Different sellers.

I was almost tempted with a bundle of x 5 Trinny London lip 2 cheeks but surely these are way too good to be true?!! Also weirdly just noticed many of the listings from theee sellers are under the category “Fire Pit”?!! 🧐

I’ve seen this .. a couple of weeks ago , exactly the same
I sent a message saying - “ are these genuine , or very good fakes ? “
i offered 50p below the asking price - just to establish contact and see what happened
it completely disappeared

Today I spotted a new with tags Passenger fleece, something like £8.98. Similar seconds hand items are going for £40/£50. I didn't bother, has to be some sort of scam. Why the random pricing I wonder?

Definitely something odd afoot by the sounds of things.
