Basically you pay an upfront amount and in return get a year's worth of free one-day delivery fro Amazon. So you don't have to svae things in order to get to the free postage limit and you get speedy delivery rather than the 3-5 day service.

Though in our case it does seem to mean that we buy a lot from Amazon these days!

It was £49 at Christmas - mine has paid for itself several times by now I think

LadyMuck · 20/05/2008 14:06

Still £49

mumofdjandbabies · 20/05/2008 18:18

It doesn't cover Marketplace, only items on Amazon itself. But then IIRC the free delivery offers over £15 etc don't apply to marketplace.

I have it and it is really good if you buy lots of books etc from amazon directly. Stuff comes really quick.

Last fri I ordered 2 books at 5.30pm they arrived on sat morning!

Its frustrating that it doesn't include marketplace stuff too but never mind, I guess there is no way they could do this, I'm just too demanding!

Marketplace traders always charge extra for postage, it's the way it's set up - at least it's a set amount though, they can't make it up like on ebay
