But I dont know what to write (newish to ebay) and also would I have to type it out every single time i list something ???

havent a clue about turbolister templates or ebay templates.....are these somethings I should spend time learning?

trying to become a bit more efficient and want to cover myself as best i can against probs..

Do you block new ebayers I have seen people do that (not that I know how to block anyone yet!!! )

I'd take the time to look at turbo lister - it really is simple and saves so much time.
If you have terms then you can just put them on the template.
I don't have terms as, as rules and law dictate them anyway and would over-ride anything people put. You could write a bit about giving discount for multiple purchases - that always looks good. Don't whatever you do state that you are not responsible for items lost or damaged in the post - because you are and many buyers look out for such nonsense just to prove the point buy buying, disputing and getting a refund.

don't write too much stuff on listing - it puts people off. just give a good description of the item, that's all people want to see.

Block people in countries that you don't post to, have unpaid strikes and have FB of -1 - again - this can be set in TL so only needs to be done once

These are my current listings, fwiw. I don't list enought to use templates or turbo lister, but I write the descriptions in word before listing, then copy and paste and edit the font and style before posting.

I'm always a bit put off by people with long lists of terms and conditions on their listings. Sounds a bit stroppy. But when I post an item I always send a message saying something like, "If you are happy with your item, please take the time to leave feedback. If there is a problem please email me on [email protected] so that I can try to sort it out".

IME if people can see that you've gone out of your way to be honest in the listing, and friendly and helpful in your communications, they will generally be reasonable.

I put "I only accept paypal when sending to a confimed address. Alternatively I accept bank transfer. Cash on collection always welcome" Something like that! I think paypal is going to be obligatory for all listings but can be open to being scammed as you need to be able to prove delivery by a trackable means. I put it in payment info.

I block ebayers reistered in countries I don't pot too and -1 fb but I think ebay saves these in preferences so is automatic.
