Withholding Funds - Please help

Wondering if anyone can kindly help me with a situation on eBay.

Sold an item of furniture last week, buyer paid and collected. However I didn't realise funds have not been released and eBay is now showing I need to scan a QR code but I was not advised of this prior to collection.

Purchaser is ignoring my messages, eBay chat is worse than useless. I requested a call from eBay on Friday which never happened.

Any advice on where to go from here much appreciated.

Went on ebay community and found this.
The buyer receives a 6 digit QR code . They MUST bring this with them, as this is the only proof you'd have that the buyer has collected the item. Maybe the buyer didn't know about it either it has only started this year. I think it's silly that you can't do cash on collection anymore.

Your sold view will state when funds will be released. It'll be about two weeks after it sold.
