Silly question over Ebay payment!!

Sorry, really silly question but I need some quick help please.

Sold an item on Ebay, buyer asked if he could pay by chq or postal order rather than the Paypal I have as my preferred method.

Chq came through today and he has mispelt my name. Now he wants to send a Postal Order..I have never used them before, how does a Postal Order work, do I get charged??

No, they pay the charges,

if its say £10 they will have to pay £10.50 at the post office to buy it and you recieve an order for £10 that you cash at the post office and recieve the full amount on the order.

Thank you, so I just hand it over the counter at the PO and they give me the cash?

Yup unless its been 'crossed' andf then it has to go into your bank like a cheque and takes 3 days to clear.
