Would really appreciate your help here

If you wanted to search for a bundle/number/lot of books suitable for toddlers, pre-school, nursery, childminder etc (picture story books) how would you search and what keywords would you put in the search box?

Ta very much in advance

by character maybe?

sixlostmonkeys · 28/04/2008 19:38

thanks

do you reckon people would only be interested in bundles of books by the same author, about the same character etc then? eg Thomas the Tank Engine

I think bundling by author or character makes more sense

Do books sell well on ebay or is amazon marketplace better?

sixlostmonkeys · 29/04/2008 10:58

It depends on the books, the amount you have, how long you are prepared to store them etc.
The cheap paperbacks are prob better on amazon if you have a (business?) account ie less fees, but you only make 50p - £1 as they sell for 1p and the profit comes from the set p&p (only works if it's a small book.)
Tbh there's loads of factors to look into.

Re bundles - I've seen some bundles go quite well on ebay. As it's more difficult to fit all the appropriate keywords in I wondered how people landed on them as the completed items don't really have much in common. I think I'll try something like "lot bundle young child picture story books"..... or something

I guess I'd be inclined to stick some of the character names in the subject line

bundle books thomas/spot/blah etc
