shill bidding.
ebay do s*d all about it too- I have reported several in the past.

EachPeachPearMum · 27/04/2008 19:38

pls link- I would love to know if its the same person who actually used the for sale boards before the changes, as she sold and bumped her own buggies.

largeginandtonic · 27/04/2008 19:39

Here it is The thieves!

They are not bidding right now, obviously. Bet they do again though.

EachPeachPearMum · 27/04/2008 19:40

Then she crowed about it on here too!

EachPeachPearMum · 27/04/2008 19:41

oh- we can't see the bidders- I think this happens over 100£?

geordieminx · 27/04/2008 19:42

How do you know she is bidding on her own item {thicko emoticon}

SparklyGothKat · 27/04/2008 19:46

er how do you know?? there are no names

EachPeachPearMum · 27/04/2008 19:47

The bidders don't look particularly suspicious though, judging from their activity

SparklyGothKat · 27/04/2008 19:48

ps i wanted that one too

TheBlonde · 27/04/2008 19:49

all bidders are anon now

I guess bidder 5 could be the seller but how can you tell?

largeginandtonic · 27/04/2008 19:58

If they bis it comes up as the bidder name. Biddder 4 is the bidder, that is the name they are using. When the people selling bid thier name (Spinkton) appears as the bidder.

That was as clear as mud wasnt it

OP posts:
SparklyGothKat · 27/04/2008 20:01

But the seller has 100% postive feedback, bidder 4 has 99%

largeginandtonic · 27/04/2008 20:02

They do dont they. I still want it.

OP posts:
SparklyGothKat · 27/04/2008 20:04

and The seller has 155 postive feedback and the bidder 4 has over 1000

SparklyGothKat · 27/04/2008 20:05

I want it too
