i have sold a bag to someone who is in france. i state in my listing that i only post to uk, and i didnt look to see where they were when they first bidded. so they have won it. it's only £1 but i only put £2 postage. their feedback is -1 so i know its likely they wont be in contact about it.

shold i just claim for a non payment even though they haveny been in touch?

Why is your first reaction to claim they are a non-payer? Have they contacted you in any way yet? Have you explained to him/her that you cannot post the bag to France without extra postage, and give him/her the option of paying the extra postage or having a rfund or the money paid.

tbh, it is just my initial reaction. they didnt get in contact before the listing ended to see if i would post to france. do you think i should email them to see if they want to pay the extra postage?
i suppose it is only fair.

Weigh the bag - check on www.royalmail.co.uk - for correct postage rates. Send them an invoice with the international postage rate on. Press send invoice and it should automatically come up as that.

If they then don't reply within 7 days, open up a dispute for your fees back and relist the bag. Simple!
