EBay sales down

How are sellers finding eBay at the moment? I’ve not sold much over summer but usually put lots on in the autumn and sell really well. Nothing is shifting. It’s a mix of products from my business and personal/ household stuff. Not wildly expensive. Photos are the same standard as usual, not professional standard but clear. Googling seems to show that customers are leaving eBay.
Vinted is doing ok but can’t sell many items on there as they don’t have the categories.

I've given up bothering with ebay. I generally only buy and very rarely sell anything, but if I'm looking for anything second hand I head straight to Vinted and just use the search function. I think most people use Vinted these days. People seem to list stuff in the closest category they can find. Which ones do you need that aren't available?

I still buy on eBay so can't say I've noticed

I found it drop off way more dramatically in mid July to now than usual. Fewer online during good weather anyway but this year was different. I haven't had much new stock though and I find that sometimes when I upload new stock slowly 1-2 a day I got more sales.

However they have gone down the Amazon route big time and the whole promoted listings in so many sections of the listing pages have drawn buyers off one listing with all the choice they have. It's no bad thing for the buyer but for sellers who built up an audience over the years, it's becoming a deal breaker.

That’s why I don’t bother much in the summer as sales drop off. Maybe the weather is still too nice. I don’t want to wish for rain though

I rarely sell on there now as it seems so expensive. Their % charge also includes the postage element these days.

That’s happened for a while.
Does anyone use folksy with any success?
