The winning bidder has paid for the item but not contacted me at all to arrange collection.

I thought it was strange as soon as I saw where the buyer lived, i'm in South Yorkshire they are in Southampton and that's a long way to come for a travel cot imo.

I've sent loads of emails asking them to contact me but had no replies. I've got their phone number from ebay and sent a text cos i hate using the phone . They have a polish sounding name so not sure if they actually speak/read english.

What would you do?

I had a similar thing. When we lived in London a guy from Bradford bought and paid for a piece of furniture. After a couple of weeks we finally got an email saying he had come to collect it (he had arranged nothing with us) but got lost and ended up in Dover. He said could he collect it in 6 weeks. We said no as we were moving a couple of weeks later. He said ok then, sorry and that was the end of it - except he left positive feedback and we kept the money! Weirdo, eh?
When did the auction end?
You could always refund their money and relist it, but block them from bidding again.

Maybe they think you are posting it. How many times have you emailed?

Loads At least 6-7. Think i'll leave it now and wait for them to contact me asking where it is if they ever do

If I were you I would send them an email today saying they have a further 24 hours to arrange collection. If you don't hear anything, refund the cash and relist. But block them from bidding again.
