Buyer has paid by PayPal but is collecting in person

It's one of the DCs bikes. They are picking up tomorrow but have already paid via PayPal. I think just clueless rather than trying to scam me.
Shall I refund them or should they request a refund, so they can pay cash when they pick it up?

It's easy now since the collection codes were brought in. There's a QR code and numerical code if that doesn't work. The collector brings it along and you scan it.

Do they get the code? From PayPal or from eBay?

Did you specify cash only in the description? If yes refund then ask them to bring cash.

If you didn’t specify cash then you’ll have to accept their PayPal payment . Make sure you take a photo of the qr code and the number. They would have received this with their payment confirmation. You then enter the number in your account to release the money.

It's really really easy to do a PayPal dispute and get your money refunded, unless they paid by friends and family?
If they didn't then ask them to pay by bank transfer or cash.

It's fine if you've sold on eBay however you MUST scan the collection code while they're still there as proof they have collected. If it's Facebook or Gumtree definitely don't accept PayPal. T
