I have some alloy wheels on ebay atm, and they cost a lot of money new, and were only used for 6 months, in excellent condition, I have them up for £200 or BO and I have been getting stupid offers of £100!! I can't believe people think that I would honestly take that! I'd never offer half the price, thats just silly.

heh, I've had some crazy offers too!

you can always counter offer with for eg £190 and they may then get back to you with a more sensible offer.

I had a book on once for about £14. Some guy messaged me saying he'd give me £2 as I wouldn't get any more than that. I looked the book up again and realised that it was fetching more than I previously thought. So I changed my price. I messaged him back thanking him for bringing this book to my attention again as I have now altered the price to £45 and subsequently sold it.
