Need help re paying by paypal-new at this!!!!!!

I want to buy something but only have half the amount in my paypal account, can I top up my paypal account with my credit card just after the auction ends in order to pay immediately ?????

Sorry if I sound a bit dim only spent the odd £5 before this item hopefully will be around £30 but I only have £16.

If you have verified your bank account you can do an instant bank transfer.
OR You will be asked which funding options you want and I believe you can then use your debit/credit card to pay.
