Surely abuse of feedback system by seller - maybe this is why sellers are being stopped from leaving feedback for their buyers...

Take a look at this seller's feedback record.

Many buyers have left negative or neutral feedback for this seller in respect of their unsatisfactory ebay buying experiences with her and she has retaliated by giving all these sellers negative or neutral feedback in return.

it's stupid isn't it?

I have said for a long time that feedback should not show up until both parties have left it.
that way neither knows what they've been given until they've both left it.

I have had shit service from a couple of people on ebay, but it isn't wortth giving neg or neutral because I know I'll get it back

suwoo · 04/04/2008 23:07

Given up looking after 12 pages and only 1 neg. Can't be arsed anymore. She does sound a bit of a bitch IMO, but I'd buy from her.

suwoo.

Click on the nuber 48 or 20 in teh feedback summary. It shows you just the neutral/neg.

I've had a look through the feedbacks here and have to say that quite a lot of the ones left for her were feedback rather than communication. Imo this does warrant a neg. Buyers should communicate, not just leave a neg If you buy something from M&S and get home and discover it's not quite right, do you a. ask for a refund/exchange or b. put a brick through their window? Do b and I guarantee M&S will retaliate.
Removing the option for sellers to leave a neut or a neg is only going to encourage more numpty buyers like this. Thing is, buyers will lose out in the long run. If I were to have a buyer neg me rather than communicate a problem, guess what? I'm not going to resolve the problem! Why should I? The neg has been left. So any buyers who are anticipating a trigger happy neg finger from May onwards....have fun with it, but don't be surprised if sellers wash their hands of the problem.

The Problem with the idea of "feedback should not show up until both parties have left it" - is that this would make it a scammers paradise. All a scammer has to do is not leave any feedback and then the FB left warning others of the scam will never show.

Its only one neg per couple of hundred of positives. Good ratio, she certainly shifts a tonne of stuff
