I sold a bundle of my little boys outgrown clothes on eBay. All in immaculate condition. It sold for nearly £30 (brilliant I thought).
I sent the bundle off the next day via Royal Mail and I uploaded the tracking to eBay for the buyer.
About a week later the buyer opens a case to say she’s not received it. I responded immediately and uploaded the photo of the tracking on the receipt as proof of sending. I was very apologetic on behalf of the Royal Mail for it taking so long. She was replying and said thank you for looking into it etc… I only had 3 days to respond to this case but when trying to claim the lost parcel with Royal Mail I had to wait at least 10 days from when the parcel should have been delivered. I let the buyer know this, that I can’t do anything until that day. She was fine with that.
Anyway, eBay closed the case and refunded her! And now her parcel has arrived. So she has her money back and the clothes!! I’ve messaged her asking her to please do the right thing along with my PayPal email. But of course she’s ignoring me. Just wanted a rant as I feel really sad about it. And the fact that she’s ignoring me after I tried so hard to help her.
