Scams on vinted?

Are there any scams on vinted I should be aware of? I usually buy trainers for my sons on vinted (new ones) but I've noticed recently a lot of people selling new trainers on there but they have no reviews (and no picture on profile less of a concern but just adding it) are there any scams I should be aware of? Surely they don't get paid till you receive the item so am I worrying for nothing?

I've heard of some sellers posting out things like a piece of cardboard instead of the item, and then they rely on some buyers being on holiday or not at home when the package arrives so they automatically get the money transferred after the deadline. But I think it's pretty safe if you are able to check the package shortly after it arrives

Thank you I will definitely be available to get it so I'm probably just overthinking it then as heard of a few people getting scammed but wondered how if they don't get the money till after you receive it!
