Vinted sales slow. Time of year or saturation?

I have had slow sales all year. Before Christmas I sold lots. Is it just a bad time of year? For example selling older kids clothes at £1 each, or bundling up for under a pound each. Monsoon and Zara stuff for £4 and under with zero views. 6 pairs of girls shorts in great condition for £4.

I'm conflicted between taking it all off or trying again in May? I have now donated the majority of my Vinted listings but not sure at what point to give up.

It feels very different to last year. Is it just more saturated or a bad time of year?

I think you are right, maybe there’s just so many more sellers?
i haven’t sold anything in a while. But come sept when youngest is at school, I’m going through all the clothes in the house and then re-listing stuff.

But…. Good time to buy I guess!

I think it’s cost of living crisis. Ppl just can’t afford to spend on anything except bills atm

I was wondering if it was COL. If its that I doubt it will pick up. I'm selling summer clothes so I will want to be rid of it before the seasons changed into Autumn. School uniform always sells. The winter stuff sold well in September too. I wonder if that will sell this year?

I only started selling a couple of weeks ago and about half my listings so far have sold within 3 or 4 days. Very few or no views of the other half.

I thought that wasn't too bad so far. Don't know how long to leave the stuff up that's not moving before giving to charity, as I'm really doing it to have a clear out, though the extra money is nice!
