Packaging large boxed toys

I have a few large playmobil sets in boxes. I’ve listed on eBay as collection only but they’re not selling. Thought I would try to post them but how on earth do I package them? Just wrap in brown paper or try to find a big enough box?

Anyone any ideas?

They are in their original boxes, is that correct? If so, then either brown paper or large plastic self-seal bag type things would work. Or a cardboard box if you can find one the right size. I buy Playmo sets on eBay and this is usually how they would be packed.

Offering postage would very much widen the market for your items. Smile

If the buyer would want to keep the boxes or I'd wrap them in bubble wrap and put them in a box. With a bit of practice you can make boxes out of cardboard and tape, I get them from the local corner shop. It does add to the weight.

The other method is to use cardboard to wrap around the item, with a couple of inches of card sticking out either end to protect the corners. Put that in a postal bag.
