Depop relative to eBay/Vinted

I've been selling privately on eBay for 14 years, started selling on Vinted about 18 months ago. I keep hearing about Depop and wondering if it's another good platform. If anyone has any experience - especially relative to eBay and Vinted, comparable profits, fees, pitfalls etc - I'd be glad to hear about it. (I've just done a quick search on here but didn't find much discussion.)

MTIA 🙂

I'm mostly a buyer rather than a seller, but in my experience, Depop skews younger, and has less listings than vinted for most searches. There's not a lot of e.g. Boden on there which sells well on ebay and vinted.

I had a feeling I'd read about them v recently - they're moving to a Vinted model of charging the buyer, not seller, fees, except for payment processing https://blog.depop.com/articles/uk-depop-fee-change

Thanks for replying @Hereallweek I'm hardly aligned with the young folk so it's probably not for me 😀

In my experience Depop is a younger market and higher end, higher cost brands. If you had a lot of Gucci, Louboutin and LV to sell, Depop would be better than Vinted. I have no experience with eBay. You have to wade through a lot of creased, faded crap on Vinted IME. So much stuff on Vinted is on there for £1, you don’t get that with Depop.
