Vinted - cheap postage bags?

MsFogi · 07/03/2024 22:46

I have exhausted my supply of old envelopes/Amazon packets - has anyone found a cheap source of postage pockets for Vinted items (particularly medium and large in-post size) - I don't want to be paying 99p for a plastic envelope to send items sold for a pound or two!

10p bag for life...

Yep this.

I once used an extra strong bin liner for a heavy book, wrapped in about 2-3 layers as it was so big.

If you go to somewhere like schott packaging you can get 100 grey postage bags which depending on size can start at a few pence or up to 45p for the large ones , obviously if you want boxes or more solid type of packaging you will pay more but their grey postal bags are good value! There’s also Rajapack but I only get boxes from them so I don’t know their postal bag prices unfortunately

I use the thousands of charity bags I get each month. Two or three, inside out and plenty of parcel tape. No one has ever complained or commented

I use these. I still recycle packaging I received but if nothing to hand these are only 10p each and good quality and seal well.

Amazon do bundles that are not too ££.

The thing I do is calculate the cost of packaging in my sales. So I allow 50p or whatever for the cost of the bag.
