Is it too late to send it back? If it's broken then it's not fit for purpose and you should get a refund.
It sounds like this is a proper shop rather than an individual so they should replace it without too much bother. It may mean sending it straight back to the supplier though.
If their delivery is so unreliable then they need to get things registered, not just send them out willy nilly!
